Operations Team:

Operations Associate

Who are we looking for? A support professional in our Phoenix office to assist with the day-to-day operations who:

• Has experience in Registered Investment Advisor operations
• Wants to provide support to client service team members
• Has experience with custodial forms and client onboarding
• Wants to expand his/her knowledge to ancillary family office services
• Can quickly troubleshoot and help solve client issues

What you will get to do
• Support the Client Services Manager with special projects and initiatives to support firm productivity and growth
• Independently manage and execute a variety of operations and process improvement initiatives
• Display professional communication skills with responses to clients, advisors, and team members by phone, email, and written communications
• Process daily client and advisor requests, including opening new accounts, transferring assets, moving money, scheduling and preparing for meetings
• Coordinate with our custodians and internal team members to follow up on and execute operational items in a timely manner
• Monitor and resolve daily time-sensitive activities
• Share responsibility for account and portfolio maintenance (via Orion Advisor Services) including, entering and validating client distributions and deposits, reviewing and updating account and securities pricing, transaction review and classification
• Support quarterly and one-off billing of client accounts, including but not limited to generating and processing client billing, submitting billing fee files to custodians, and conducting ongoing account audits and data reviews
• Support new client and account onboarding process, including client setup across client facing platforms, initiating and following through on new client onboarding processes (new account opening, online client portals, client document vault set up, etc.)
• Analyze current processes, recommend process improvements and work with Advisory, Operations, and Administrative team to streamline stages of the client lifecycle using technology

What we seek in a candidate
• 3 or more years of successful administrative, client service, or services operations experience
• Bachelor’s Degree required, ideally in business or related field
• Experience with Orion, or other financial account and portfolio management system is ideal
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM experience is highly preferred; Salesforce Admin experience is a major plus
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft software is highly preferred
• Demonstrated passion for the financial planning and financial services profession
• Someone who is a team-oriented creative thinker
• Someone who is a self-starter, takes initiative and is excited about taking a project from idea to completion; Project management experience is preferred, but not required
• Ability to identify, meet, and follow through with internal and external client needs and requirements
• Organized with a strong attention to detail and ethical standards
• Ability to think strategically to improve internal client service systems or develop procedures

Planning Team :

CFP® Planner

We're looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Planner who is excited to help own and drive the financial planning process, and can quickly develop an excellent rapport with clients.   Someone who aspires to become a lead relationship manager, values outstanding oral and written communication skills and enjoys researching complex financial planning topics and incorporating the findings into actionable client solutions would be a perfect candidate for the role.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• CFP® preferred or demonstrated progress toward acquiring the CFP®
• 3-5 years of experience of client-facing financial planning experience, preferably in an RIA
• Technical and analytical training and experience in financial planning
• Demonstrated flexibility, versatility and ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to tight deadlines in a team environment
• Ability to work without close supervision managing and prioritizing deliverables
• Highly flexible and confidential with all matters
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial planning software
• Experience with CRM software and performance reporting systems
