We are seeking a Tax Strategist with a strong income and estate planning tax background to provide financial planning and tax strategy and advice to our high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients. Ideal candidate is a CPA, with an advanced accounting and tax planning background, and 4-8 years practical experience, preferably including time spent in a family office or wealth management environment. This could also be a unique opportunity for a CPA who has a passion for holistically serving wealthy individuals and families with a desire to move away from a Public Accounting environment.
• 4-8 years Big 4 or equivalent 1040 tax review and planning experience for 10 million+ level clientele.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a track record of successfully leading complex client tax engagements, including examples of handling unforeseen tax law client questions with gravitas during in-person client meetings.
• CFP® or desire to earn the CFP® designation.
We're looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Planner who is excited to help own and drive the financial planning process, and can quickly develop an excellent rapport with clients. Someone who aspires to become a lead relationship manager, values outstanding oral and written communication skills and enjoys researching complex financial planning topics and incorporating the findings into actionable client solutions would be a perfect candidate for the role.
• Bachelor’s Degree
• CFP® preferred or demonstrated progress toward acquiring the CFP®
• 3-5 years of experience of client-facing financial planning experience, preferably in an RIA
• Technical and analytical training and experience in financial planning
• Demonstrated flexibility, versatility and ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to tight deadlines in a team environment
• Ability to work without close supervision managing and prioritizing deliverables
• Highly flexible and confidential with all matters
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial planning software
• Experience with CRM software and performance reporting systems
