Alfonso is Tarbox’s Director of Investments and will help lead investment strategy, asset allocation, and research for the firm.
Prior to his role at Tarbox, Alfonso was Portfolio Manager for GC1 Ventures, a multinational family office, where he developed a holistic investment strategy with an emphasis on tax-efficiency, diversification, and risk-adjusted returns. In the earlier stages of his career, Alfonso worked with clients in the private wealth investment group of a global financial institution, where he served as a subject matter expert on alternative investments.
Alfonso holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California Santa Barbara.
